Rob Hasz
Rob’s roots run deep in Eastern Colorado, where he grew up immersed in the rhythms of farm life. That early exposure gave him a firsthand understanding of agriculture and the challenges farmers face—especially when it comes to managing risk. In 1997, Rob entered the crop insurance industry as a crop adjuster with one of the largest Approved Insurance Providers (AIPs) in the country. From day one, he was committed to helping farmers protect their operations through reliable crop insurance coverage.
His role quickly expanded as he joined a national travel team, assessing claims and learning about diverse crops and regional farming practices from Colorado to Florida. This experience broadened his knowledge of agricultural perils—many of which were unfamiliar back home—and deepened his expertise in crop insurance solutions tailored to different environments.
Rob also contributed to the development of a cutting-edge mapping system, now considered one of the most valuable tools in crop insurance today. After years of service, he made the difficult decision to leave the company and pursue a new path as an independent agent. In 2005, he partnered with a colleague to specialize exclusively in crop insurance, offering farmers personalized support and protection.
Following the passing of his business partner, Rob and his wife joined forces to continue the mission. Together, they combined over 27 years of experience in the crop insurance industry to establish Hasz Insurance—a company built on trust, service, and a deep commitment to helping farmers safeguard their livelihoods.
Rob takes great pride in understanding each farming operation he works with. His goal is simple: to help farmers find the best crop insurance coverage and risk management tools to strengthen and sustain their farms for generations to come.
Soc Hasz
Soc has lived in Eastern Colorado since 1987 and married a local farmer, continuing her lifelong connection to agriculture. In 1997, she and a friend launched a crop insurance business that allowed them to be both working moms and entrepreneurs. For over 24 years, Soc has poured her heart into helping farmers navigate the world of crop insurance, offering personalized support and protection. Her passion and dedication to serving producers make her a trusted ally in managing risk and securing farm operations.
Jade Hasz
Jade joined the agency in 2019, bringing with her a degree in Risk Management and Insurance from CU Denver and a strong foundation in crop insurance, thanks to both parents working in the industry. She became a licensed agent while still in college and quickly became an essential part of Rob and Soc’s agencies. With deep industry knowledge, sharp organizational skills, and a passion for helping farmers navigate crop insurance, Jade has helped streamline operations and strengthen client support.
Kathy Pfost
Kathy grew up farming and ranching in Eastern Colorado, giving her a lifelong connection to agriculture. She teamed up with Soc in the early days of their crop insurance journey and has been a vital part of the business ever since. Whether she’s helping in the office, delivering mail, or chatting with clients, Kathy’s dedication to supporting farmers through crop insurance shines through. She continues to farm and ranch locally, bringing real-world experience to every part of our operation.
Adelita Jujan
Adelita joined our team in October 2022 and quickly became the bright smile that welcomes you into our office. As a leader in organization and task management, she keeps our crop insurance operations running smoothly—even during the busiest times of the year. Her calm demeanor and steady presence bring balance to the office, helping both staff and clients feel supported. Whether it’s coordinating paperwork or assisting with policy details, Adelita plays a key role in delivering the dependable service our farmers rely on.
Krista Hatfield
Krista joined our team in 2021, bringing over 20 years of experience in real estate and a strong drive to serve the agricultural community. With the ever-changing economy, she saw the value in crop insurance and made the transition to help farmers protect their operations. Krista is committed to expanding her knowledge and going above and beyond to support our clients. Her dedication and fresh perspective make her a valuable asset to our crop insurance team for years to come.
Deborah Lang
Debbie began her agricultural journey in the lush landscapes of Molokai, Hawaii, working for the NRCS-FSA before relocating to southeastern Colorado—what she fondly calls moving from a “sea of water to a sea of land.” After over 20 years with NRCS, she transitioned into crop insurance as a crop adjuster and quickly became a specialist in perennials. Now a key part of our team, Debbie brings unmatched expertise, warmth, and dedication to every farmer she serves. Her deep knowledge and exceptional service make her an invaluable asset in the world of crop insurance.
Rocky
Don’t be alarmed when you see this beefy. (Bring treats!) Rocky has been working with us since 2019. He has brought nothing but slobber, hair, and kisses to our team. Most of all, his contributions have been hard to compete with.
Asia Kalcevic
Asia joined the Hasz team in February 2021 as our Social Media Coordinator and Designer, bringing a fresh perspective to how we connect with farmers. With a Communications degree from Colorado State University and a strong agricultural background, she’s helped shape our online presence and build awareness around crop insurance. From designing our website to managing social media, Asia plays a key role in sharing our mission. Though she works remotely, you might spot her in the field on her family’s farm or enjoying the Colorado outdoors.
